How is outdoor learning connected to academic success?
Our Outdoor Learning Programs address one of the most important principles of education: students learn most effectively when their foundational needs are met first. They need to be recharged, calm, and emotionally regulated to do the hard work of school. This is why, in addition to our standard academic learning programs, we offer outdoor programs that support the whole child.
Carly Clusserath Learning outdoor programs follow the same high-quality standards as our academic tutoring programs - we run things very differently from typical outdoor programs. We keep groups small: up to 8 students with at least 2 instructors. All of our instructors are highly-trained, experienced educators and mountain professionals. We partner with local guiding companies that have the training and expertise to ensure all of our students get a safe and unforgettable experience in the mountains. Every outdoor program curriculum is designed intentionally to inspire long term growth in all participants.
